ActionAid Hellas was established in 1998 as a Civil Non-Profit Organisation. We are governed by the General Assembly and the Governing Board, both comprised of volunteers who provide their services free of charge. The General Assembly and Board members draw up and oversee our strategy and our work as a whole, ensuring accountability and transparency on all levels and actions. Democratic governance is at the basis of our organisation. According to our statutes, we are an independent non-governmental and non-profit organisation and we are not part of any state or private authority.
