We are an independent, international organisation fighting against poverty and injustice, in Greece and around the world.
Today, we are active in more than 45 countries and we train people and their communities so that they can rely on their own strengths and claim a life of dignity and a fairer world for all.
To do so, we cooperate with local organisations and, at the same time, we put pressure on governments and various agencies alike, fighting against policies and practices that perpetuate poverty and social exclusion.
All this is made possible thanks to the valuable assistance of the people supporting us.

We envision a society free of poverty and injustice, in which all people will enjoy equal rights, without discrimination; they will have sustainable income, and they will be able to prevent the impact of natural disasters and overcome crises.

Our priorities
We believe that the change towards a society with more equity and justice requires the mobilisation and collaboration of all citizens. This is why we are trying to mobilise citizens, so that they will become active and make our society a fairer place.
As a result, our programmes are defined by the following priorities:
We support those who are socially excluded so that they can believe in themselves and develop their skills to improve their lives
We promote the values of active citizenship, that is, we defend democratic values and human rights
We create opportunities for civic participation, on an individual, collective, local and international level
We lobby for public policies that reduce injustice and promote the values of active citizenship
