ActionAid in Greece
Our office in Greece, i.e. ActionAid Hellas, was established in 1998, as a Civil Non-Profit Company. More than 240,000 Greeks and Cypriots have supported our work as ActionAid sponsors, as donors, volunteers or campaigners. We share a common vision and we fight for a fairer world. We are proud of our history, we work with transparency and are accountable both to our supporters and to the people we support.

We believe in cooperation
We cooperate with organisations, groups of citizens and activists around the world and, together, we fight for a world without poverty and injustice.
In Greece, we are member of the Hellenic Platform for Development and we participate in the International Forum of Volunteering in Development, as well as in the European NGO Confederation for Relief and Development, through the Platform. Further, we cooperate with the Greek National Referral Mechanism for the Protection of Human Trafficking Victims. We are active members of the Athens Coordination Centre for Migrant and Refugee Issues, of the Climate Alliance and we take part in the National Gender and Equality Commission (NGEC).
