Supporting people to improve life in their community
We work in Greece and in more than 45 countries abroad. You will find us in rural and urban communities, in crowded slums and in sparsely populated areas of the countryside. We work wherever there is a need, without discrimination.
Our goal is to create resilient communities where people will have the knowledge and tools to deal with anything that happens to them, their family or around them. We discuss and we jointly design programmes which offer comprehensive solutions, implementing them together.
We suggest ways to boost family income, organise training programmes, give people opportunities to believe in themselves and to change life in their community through collective action; we also focus on preventing and responding to natural disasters, by designing sustainable solutions together with the people living in the area.
When the inhabitants of our communities are back on their feet, feeling strong, we leave with joy and pride for what we have achieved and continue our work in other places, where there is a need.
