Young citizens learn how to assert their future
Education and lifelong learning are our key tools to reduce poverty and injustice. We invest in education, making citizens active and capable of claiming a world that is fairer for all.
In all the countries we work in, we do our best to ensure that all people, regardless of gender, have equal opportunities for quality education. So, we create educational and skills development programmes, while we also support schools in terms of infrastructure and equipment, hold teacher training seminars and inform citizens about the right to education.
In Greece, we have been implementing programmes, creating educational material for pupils of all grades and organising teacher training seminars since 2000. In addition, we offer "restless parents" suggestions for activities with their children related to rights, environment, active citizenship.
